Hi, my Sweets!! Well, I decided to leave the blog. I had deleted but now it's back. It will still be neglected, and have even less posts than before, but it will still be here. Hope you're having a lovely Fall.
Here is some Zetti fun for you.

Summertime... Or Not
The kiddos are now done with another school year - yup, my sweet baby girl finished her first year of preschool. Well, technically it was more like 3 months because her highness took her time potty training, but I was an emotional mess nonetheless. It came on in a flash as I was thanking her teachers - the sweetest bunch of women you will ever meet. I was so grateful for their patience and warmth toward my girl. And Shadi fell in love with school (finally) so I was also sad that she would have to wait the whole Summer for more schooltime fun. Such is my life right now. :o)
I have been a busy, crafty girl, and did want to share some of my latest works with you.
Some vintage themed inchies for a swap on Swap-bot...

An altered matchbox that I made to contain the inchie swap I had with Cindy...

And here are the inchies...

Some tags and altered game pieces for my Miniature Mania group on Yahoo...

And some mini ATCs for a swap with my friend, Bonnie.

We've been beneath a thick layer of clouds around here, and in the low 70's which is strangely cool for us. I'm not complaining, but some rain would be nice before we get into our usual hot Summer days.
Sadly, I missed my one year blogiversary, and never managed the giveaway, so I will work on one for later in the Summer. I have to get someone to read my blog first! lol
Stay well, my Pretties, and will be back for a visit soon!!

Happy Spring!!
Hello, my Pretties!! I am well and busy, but not very good at updating you. I have been thinking about you, but have been a victim of the disorganized monster, so I have not made time for a little visit. But, to appease your desire for something pretty and shiny, I did post a few of the swaps I have completed.
Here are a few inchies...

Here is a pretty notcard holder that I made for a swap with one of my new swap friends, Bonnie. I met her through my Inchie group on Yahoo, and she is a true gem. Now, i could take lessons in organization from her!! She is totally on-the-ball, and a sweetheart to boot!!
Here is the inside of the notecard holder...

Here is an altered envelope filled wit goodies for my very sweet Swap-bot friend, Tonya. We did an Easter/Spring altered Altoid tin swap. So fun to decorate and fill those little tins!! I had a few extra goodies that I included in this envelope. Great fun!!

And her is a little wallhanging I made for Priscilla, for my Vintage Ephemera group swap, One Upon a Time Swap. She loves Alice in Wonderland, and put together these vintage goodies to make her something pretty.

It feels like Summer today (low 80's), and wish we could jump in the pool. We have all been well and starting to anticipate the lazy days of Summer. Only about 8 weeks of school left. Yahoo!!
How have you been?? I hope you are well and getting some sunshine. I always feel better after I've had a little sunshine. :o)

Of Stuffing and Swaps
Well hello again!! I see you've been keeping busy while I've been away. I hope your Thanksgiving was lovely and filling, and that you burned off all the calories you consumed while you washed dishes!! We cooked for 30, and had a baked tukey (made by my mom), a smoked turkey (made by my dad), and a deep fried turkey (made by my DH)!! There was also a ham, and all the proper side dishes (LOVE my grandmother's stuffing recipe). Can't believe it's come and gone already! So much preparation and all done in one afternoon.
Did you notice the new blog banner?! It is another original design by Tiffany Marshall (did you see her fabulous studio in the Fall/Winter issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors?!)! She is one of my favorite digital artists, and I love what she does with tags and paper, too!! Thanks, Tiffany, for my absolutely fun banner!!
Cindy and I exchanged tags before Thanksgiving. Here are the pretties she sent to me...

Pretty, pretty, pretty!!! Love what she does!! She is always coming up with something new, and getting tags from her is like getting chocolate - I always want more!! lol She also prints sayings on her tags, and a few of them even have sayings on the back. We decided to do a tag swap for Christmas ... I can't wait!! Thank you, Cindy!!! They are all marvelous!!!
Here are the taggies I sent to her. She has kitties at home, and I got these cat graphics from Tiffany's blog and so I thought they'd make dashing tags. What do ya think? I've been stamping more lately, so I decided to stamp the phrases for the tags as well.

I also completed a Christmas baking swap with my buddy, Stevie, and will show you the tags I sent her. So, Stevie, this is a spoiler alert!!

Are you getting ready for Christmas? I'm still taking down Fall leaves, but will be in full Christmas mode by the weekend. I bought 2 little pink Christmas trees and can't wait to put my ornaments from A Joyeux Affaire on them!! The event is this Saturday at Kim Caldwell's house, and I am so excited!! Crafts and new friends, what a fabu way to spend the day. I'll take lots of pics and report back to you. Until then, stay well and put a little more glitter on that thing you're working on... :o)

Busy, Busy, Busy
I am fighting a losing battle; it's me versus dirt! I know you know what I'm talking about. You wipe one surface, but there's always another one waiting to be wiped. You wash 2 loads of laundry, only to realize there are 3 more waiting for ya! Some days are better than others. Like today, I decided I was gonna forego the laundry and work on a mini Christmas album. I made a little progress in it before I noticed the mountain of dirty dishes in the sink. Such is the life of a wannabe craft-star. But enough of my griping, I do want to say that I have had a busy 2 weeks - parents moved out, MIL came back from Iran, moved 3 of the bedrooms around, bought a new couch, went to Disneyland, celebrated Halloween, boxed up Halloween... Oh, yeah! I missed Halloween with you. So even though all of these are now boxed in the storage room, here is a peek at some of my decorations...

Lots of my decorations were made by some of you crafty gals, and how I love them all!! I also bought some large tags from Kris Hurst, and they are so very cool, as well as some smaller tags that I hung on my black tree. It was very festive in here!!
Before I kiss Fall crafts good-bye in favor of Christmas, here is my tag swap that I am sending to Stevie. I made a few small tags, 2 medium sized tags, and a monster tag that ismore of a wall hanging.
This is an envelope I altered and it's filled with a few surprizes. Hope you like it, Stevie!!
Well, my Pretties, this is a quick post to say I am still here and trying to make something pretty to show ya. Hope you are having a lovely week, and keeping healthy!! Hugs to you!!

Party Hat Swap with Jules
Some of you also participate in the Vintage Ephemera Swap Group on Flickr. Well my partner for this swap was the fairy-fabulous Jules of Whimsical Notions. She is a bright and cheery spirit who can create magical items! Jules wanted a fairy theme for her party hat, and that sounded like a brilliant idea to me too since I also love fairies. And here is the gorgeous creation by Jules:
These pinctures do not do this piece justice!! There is glitter everywhere and sweet fairies and butterflies, birdies - and she even included a glittery cupcake, cause she knows I love 'em!!
In addition to my amazing new hat, she also included lots of goodies. One of my favorite is this fabric sheet she made using images of my 2 kiddos. See Simon as a Victorian Christmas chap, and Shadi as a Fairy!!! Soooooooooooo cute!! Cupcake alert - cupcake cakndle picks are in the shot also!! How creative is she?!?!
So many pretties!!! So many sweet cupcakes!!
More birds and beautiful pressed flowers, a pretty initial "L", vintage candle holders, a cute cookie cutter...
A sweet doggi calendar, a little plastic baby doll, a pretty little organza bag with a copper charm and bits...
Dresden foil trims (oh I have been longing for some of those), sweet chocolates (so yum), a pretty lollipop, vintage cards, and amazing vintage paper lantern (the green oval)...
What a wonderfully fun and full swap!! Thanks so much, Jules, for an anazing swap with me!! We are going to swap altered matchboxes with a Christmas theme!! I am so excited!! :o)
Here is what I sent to my friend, Jules...
My interpretation of a fairy's party hat...
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you get to have some crafty fun today!!

And several bottles of witch essentials: Dead Elf Bones, Scarecrow Stuffing, and Dried Spider Mix!! Love it and will be adding it to my apothecary cupboard. he he
Two mini skulls with festive party hats, ribbon, vintage velvet flowers, and a few other bits and baubles. Thanks, again, Cheryl, for a fabulous swap!! I had such fun!!
